This policy explains how Picchi (“Picchi”, “we”) handles personal information. We collect as little as we can, use it only to look after you, and never sell it.
What we collect
- Details you send us by email, such as your name, contact details, the date you would like to visit and any dietary needs.
- Booking details passed to us by our reservations provider, once online booking opens.
- Anonymous visit statistics. Our analytics is cookieless and does not identify you or follow you to other sites.
How we use it
To reply to you, manage your booking, prepare for allergies and dietary needs, and, only if you ask us to, tell you when reservations open or about events at Picchi. Our lawful bases are your consent and taking steps at your request before a booking.
Cookies
This website does not set cookies of its own. The map on our contact page is provided by Google, which may set cookies when the map loads; see Google’s privacy policy for details.
How long we keep it
We keep booking and enquiry details for as long as we need them to serve you, and no longer than two years.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 you can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw consent at any time. Write to us at hello@picchi.co.uk or 27 Bernard Street, The Shore, Leith, Edinburgh EH6 6SH. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
